シャッフェンミューレは南部ドイツ ドナウ川沿いのULMにあります。
1452年に現在の旧市街に当たる場所に粉屋の工場が建てられました。
その後1983年の大火でほぼ壊滅的に破壊されたのを機にＵＬＭのＪｕｎｇｌｉｎｇｅｎ地区にドイツで最初の完全コンピュータ制御の製粉工場を再建しました。
1998年に倉庫を拡張し 更2005年には世界で最も高い穀物サイロ116ｍを建設しました。
今日最高水準を誇る生産プラントで 古典的な工業製品の他あらゆる種類の穀類の加工をしています。
単に粉だけではなくシリアル製品、各種の種と粉とのブレンドなどを250gの小袋から50ｋｇの袋そして工業用ビッグバッグまで生産し独自の配送もしています。
また、最新設備とパン屋としての技術を備えたテスト用パン工場ではあらゆる顧客のニーズに応える為に各種の改良剤、調整粉の開発、新しい商品を生み出しています。
SchapfenMühle was founded in 1452 in Ulm in Southern Germany as a milling company.
After experiencing a devastating fire in 1983, SchapfenMühle took the opportunity to completely computerize their operations at the new mill in the Jungingen area of the town, becoming the first of its kind in the country.
With the extension of a high rack storage area in 1998, and the highest silo tower in the world at 116 meters (approx. 380 feet) in 2005, the company stands at the forefront of innovation and quality in mill products.
The classic mill products of flour, grits and flakes are packed in sacks of 25kg for bakers to large 250kg bags for food retailers.
For bakery customers, the company offers a comprehensive range of premixes and bread improvers, customized according to needs using state-of-the-art bakery technology.
Available for retail sale are small convenience packages of a rich variety of cereal products, seeds and premixes.
Today, SchapfenMühler continues to add to its product line with creative, healthful grain blends.
ビオコーンは2006年にオーガニック製品の生産と開発の為に設立されました。
ビオコーンブランドの商品はＨｅｉｍａｔｓｍｕｅｈｌｅハイマーツミューレの工場で生産されています。
2009年10月有機ＪＡＳの認定を取得しました。
BioKorn was established in 2006 to market a range of organic products from the three milling companies Schapfen Mühle, Heimatsmühle, and Frießinger Müler.
Products under this brand are manufactured at the Heimatsmuehle factory and received ABCert organic certification in April 2008 and again in October 2009 by JAS.
